Whenever possible, Alexandre Sartorato will send you updates on the progress of the Round the World Challenge.

I'm in the Vale Verde neighborhood, Cubatão, Brazil. The place where I live! Let's start another journey through South America,

(June 4th)

We were lacking places to buy food and hydration, but today we found many establishments along the way. We arrived at the airport in Wales after crossing 22 countries and thank God everything went well so far. Now I'm heading to Brazil to continue the challenge.

(May 31th)

Today my friend Connor is going to do the first 5 km with me. I asked him to do the 80 km but he said he didn't have time. Thanks for the company my friend!

(May 30th)

It's 5:33 in London. Having a Brazilian coffee at London airport to start the day off right.

(May 28th)

After 57 days, I have just arrived at Amsterdam airport. From here I will board a flight to London to cross England and Wales.

(May 26th)

Some cities in the Netherlands are below sea level. As I passed by, I could clearly see the houses below sea level.

(May 25th)

The hardest part of the day is putting on my sneakers. My feet are very sore and this is the first and greatest victory of the day. I have to make the best of what I find in the circumstances that arise.

(May 23th)

We arrived in Luxembourg, the 17th country we are passing through, by the grace of God.

(May 20th)

Today we made a quick stop to try authentic French croissants, with Mr Martini.

(May 19th)

Let's go on another journey. A lot of pain, because I ended up hitting my finger that had just lost a nail.

(May 18th)

We spent a long time without internet because of the path we took. The person we met and who supported us, her name in Portuguese is Irene, the same name as my mother, which made me very emotional.

(May 17th)

Let's go on another journey. It was very cold this morning, but I don't think that's anything new, right?

(May 15th)

We are in Davos, Switzerland. It was very cold this morning. Yesterday, despite passing through the most beautiful landscapes in the world, there was a lot of rain, hail, and snow at an altitude of over 2,300 meters. May God bless another day and may the journey be wonderful and blessed.

(May 14th)

Let's go on another journey. May God bless our day. It was very cold this morning. During the day we had to change our route because of a landslide that ended up blocking the road.

(May 12th)

I'm in a region close to the border between Italy and Austria, which for me is one of the most incredible regions in the world.

(May 11th)

Today I visited an incredible castle in Italy. I go through difficult routes, but also incredible places.(May 10th)

(May 10th)

Another day. We are in Dolce, Italy and it will be a beautiful route today.

(May 8th)

We are in San Marino. It is 5:30 in the morning. We are about to start another journey and it is very cold!

(May 6th)

Last night we were welcomed by Frederico Francolini in an incredible way. He is Italian but lived in Portugal for a long time and speaks Portuguese very well. I have no words to thank him for the welcome!

(May 5th)

I often say that I have many fathers and mothers spread across the world. Yesterday I met another one of these welcoming families in Italy.

(May 4th)

This was a night when we slept in a tent, and it was very cold. Now, at 3:30 in the afternoon, the sun is beating down on the middle of the road.

(May 3rd)

Today I passed through Via Salaria, in Italy. This route was used to transport salt to ancient Rome.

(May 2nd)

I have arrived in Rome. Here I will count on the support of my friend Verissimo, who will give me support with hydration, nutrition and physiology.

(May 1st)

We have completed the first part of the challenge. We visited 9 countries in the first 4 weeks. From Croatia we will fly to Rome in Italy, with the goal of crossing 11 more countries.

(April 30th)

It's been a constant around here for the last few days. At exactly 3:00 pm it starts to rain.

(April 29th)

I am very grateful for the affection, respect and admiration with which the European people have treated me so far.

(April 28th)

I reached the ninth country in my Round the World challenge: Bosnia and Herzegovina.

(April 27th)

I'm in Slano, Croatia. It's very rainy and very cold. It's very difficult to run with a raincoat and a backpack. The rain and wind are very tiring. But the region here is beautiful!

(April 26th)

I'm in Croatia. Let's start another day!

(April 25th)

Good morning! Let's continue with the journey. And in my opinion, the Adriatic Sea has some of the most beautiful water in the world.

(April 24th)

I needed to buy a black soda but I didn't have any cash, only a credit card. I was given the bottle of soda as a gift. Although the highways are excellent here in Montenegro, it is forbidden to speed on them. I have to use alternative routes.

(April 23rd)

Another day. I had a terrible night. I spent the night vomiting and having diarrhea, which left me a little dehydrated. Montenegro is so beautiful, and despite the terrible night, the smile returns to my face as I travel through the beautiful landscapes.

(April 22nd)

Arriving at the ninth country of my Round the World challenge: Bosnia and Herzegovina.

(April 27th)

I'm in Montenegro. Yesterday I slept in an abandoned cottage. There was a cottage on the website, but when I got there there was no one there. There was an abandoned little house next door and I had to sleep there.

(April 21st)

Today the journey from Kosovo to Montenegro was incredibly beautiful, but also very scary.

(April 20th)

The next few days will be extremely difficult. I will continue to be firm, with faith in God. But the more difficult it gets, the more I feel God's presence. Everything will work out! I trust in the God who moves me.

(April 19th)

Both my feet and knees hurt a lot. My team has a lot of difficulty providing logistical support. This means I have to carry a backpack with clothes and food all day long.

(April 18th)

Two weeks have passed. Today I arrived in Serbia, the fifth country and I continue on to complete my second trip around the world.

(April 16th)

Although the roads in Europe are of excellent quality, I cannot run on them. I have to take the side roads because it is forbidden to run on the highway. These roads are usually made of dirt and stones with winding paths, making the route much more difficult.

(April 15th)

I've already lost a nail and I have a blister on my heel. I had to open my shoes to speed up the healing process, which takes about 4 days.

(April 14th)

I'm in Macedonia. I'm with a great friend, Marco, who supported me today. He and his family helped me in 2007 on my first trip around the world.

(April 13rd)

I've already crossed Egypt, Greece, I've been through Albania, I've returned to Greece... right now I'm in Niki, Greece, about 500 meters from North Macedonia... I'll cross the border tomorrow morning.

(April 12nd)

Tomorrow will be ten working days... God willing, the day after tomorrow I will enter Albania. The boys are having difficulty renting a car for themselves. The one they rented can only be driven in Greece.

(April 10th)

We're in Greece. An extremely complicated route! Snow, rain, wind, altitude and a lot of difficulty for the team to supply me...I can't run on the highway...I spend hours and hours alone, carrying a full backpack. The locals gave me a heater to put in the tent....'s a very small town...there's no hotel...the town mayor gave me a room in the school to stay overnight. Tomorrow will be ten working days... God willing, the day after tomorrow, I'll be in Albania.
